Citizens Bank & Trust expanding Cullman office

CULLMAN - Citizens Bank & Trust recently announced plans to open a full-service office in Cullman. The branch, located at 223 Second Ave. SE, will bring the total number of Citizens branches to eight. Currently in operation in downtown Cullman is the bank’s Loan Production Office (LPO) which will be relocating to the new facility this month. The bank will have a soft opening on Sept. 19, with a ribbon cutting and grand opening scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 11.

Known as the “Parker Bank Building,” the new facility was originally constructed in 1951. Renovations are near completion and the banks says the Citizens Bank & Trust Cullman team is excited to serve customers at the new office. Banking business may be done at the new location Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 19, 2017. There will be an ATM on site and three drive-through lanes.

“With this new office, we are pleased to develop our presence in Cullman,” said Alan Wood, who will serve as the city president of the Cullman office. Wood, a Cullman native with more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, added, “We look forward to expanding our competitive consumer and business account services to the residents of Cullman County and surrounding areas.”

“Spirit of Citizens” is the bank’s employee volunteer program which allows employees time off to volunteer in the community. “Volunteerism and making time to give back to the communities we serve is paramount at our bank,” said Charlie Williams, president/CEO of Citizens Bank & Trust. “We have assembled a strong team to not only do a great job serving our customers in Cullman, but also one which will continue to be involved in the community.”
