CULLMAN COUNTY - This week is the final of the regular season for some teams while others look to finish strong on their way to the postseason. Two games (Cold Springs vs. Danville and Vinemont at Falkville) will take place Thursday night, with the rest on Friday evening.

The Cold Springs Eagles (1-8, 0-6 2A Region 7) will host the Danville Hawks (2-7, 0-6 4A Region 8) Thursday night at Eagle Stadium. Neither team will see the postseason this year so this will be the final game of the season for both. Cold Springs will look to finish the season on a winning note against the Hawks who are 0-4 away from home this season.

The Good Hope Raiders (3-6, 1-5 4A Region 6) will travel to Hanceville to take on the Bulldogs (1-8, 0-6 3A Region 6). The Raiders are coming off back-to-back losses and will try to bounce back against Hanceville, who will try and get their first win since week one of the season.

The Holly Pond Broncos (6-3, 3-3 3A Region 6) locked up a play-off spot last week with a win over Vinemont and this week they look to build some momentum on the road at Fairview (2-6, 0-6 5A Region 6). The Aggies will play their final game of the season and try to end their year with a win in the cross-creek rivalry.

The West Point Warriors (6-3, 4-2 5A Region 6) will host Lawrence County (4-5, 3-4 5A Region 8) this week. The Warriors have secured a play-off spot, but the Red Devils have a lot to play for with post-season hopes still alive. West Point is coming off a big road win at Curry and will try to keep the streak going before they travel to Brooks next week.

Vinemont (2-7, 1-5 3A Region 6) will travel to Falkville (6-3, 5-1 2A Region 7) to face the Blue Devils Thursday night in its last game of the season. Falkville is tied for first place with two other teams in its region headed into the final week of the regular season so this game will have big implications for any potential tie-breakers for the Blue Devils.

The Cullman Bearcats (6-3, 4-2 6A Region 7) will finish up their regular season on the road against the Chelsea Hornets (2-7, 2-4 6A Region 3). The Hornets will not be seeing the playoffs this year, but the Bearcats are looking to build some momentum after last week's win over Brewer before traveling to Ramsay next week.

The Addison Bulldogs (7-2, 5-2 1A Region 7) will end their regular season with a matchup against the Yellow Jackets of Winston County (2-7, 2-4 2A Region 7). Addison has won three straight and will try to stay hot this week before they host Hubbertville in round one of the AHSAA playoffs next week.

Meek (7-3, 3-3 1A Region 7) is idle this week. The Tigers claimed a play-off spot last week with a win over Sumiton Christian and they now have a chance to rest some players and heal some bruises as they take the week off and await their first-round opponent.
