Bomb threat called in at CHS on Monday night

CULLMAN, Ala. – An anonymous bomb threat was called in to the Cullman Police Department at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Monday night in regards to Cullman High School.

Cullman Police and school administrators responded immediately, and police are searching the building. Nothing has been found at this point. Police will continue to thoroughly search the campus to ensure there is no threat.

There is no current plan to delay the start of classes at Cullman High School on Tuesday, as authorities expect to have the campus searched and cleared as of Monday night. Cullman Police are investigating the source of the threat.

“We are thankful for the quick reaction and diligence of the Cullman Police Department to respond to this threat and ensure our campus is safe,” Superintendent Kyle Kallhoff said.
