HANCEVILLE – On Valentine's Day (That's this coming Tuesday, Feb. 14.  Don't forget it, guys!) the music department of Hanceville High School will host a dinner for the community, featuring live entertainment from the school's band, choir and guitar class.

Hanceville High School Music Director Steven Porter gave us the particulars:

When: Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m.

Where: Hanceville First United Methodist Church, 704 Commercial St., Hanceville, AL 35077

Menu: Salad, spaghetti, and red velvet cake for dessert

RSVP: Anyone planning to come should contact Porter by 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13. He can be reached at sporter@ccboe.org or 256-352-6111 ext. 117.  Meal tickets will not be available at the door, but walk-ins for the show are welcome.

Cost: $10 for dinner and the show, $5 at the door if you're just coming for the music

This is a fundraising event, to help purchase new band uniforms and fund upcoming choir and band trips to Florida.  The Hanceville and greater Cullman County communities are encouraged to come out and support their local school.

The "Hanceville Dog Pound Players" say "We love what we do, and do what we love!"
