CULLMAN – Cullman Regional Medical Center has been a part of the community since 1939; however, the services and quality of care provided have evolved substantially. Therefore, the hospital has created a new marketing and branding campaign to showcase these changes.

“The hospital brand image has been the same since its inception,” said Board Chair Judy Butler-Patterson. “However the hospital has expanded significantly over the past 77 years. We want the people we serve to understand and embrace those changes.”

The new marketing and branding image, developed with agency partner Frederick Swanston Advertising out of Atlanta, hopes to showcase the modern care available at Cullman Regional.

“When we first began working with Cullman Regional, we were amazed by the modern facility and innovative programs. However, when we began our market research, the community did not seem to be aware of the advanced technology and services available through Cullman Regional,” said Bill Swanston, partner and executive creative director at Frederick Swanston.

The new initiative showcases not only the modern services and facilities available, but also demonstrates the hospital’s commitment to keeping the community members well so that they can live exceptionally healthy lives.

“We are committed to being the community’s health care partner,” said James Clements, Cullman Regional CEO. “We don’t just want to be a place that people go to when they’re sick, but rather a resource to keep them well.”

The new campaign will help community members understand how they can use resources available through Cullman Regional to take small steps to living a healthy lifestyle. Cullman Regional has already begun making community wellness a priority over the last few years.

“Over the past year, our community outreach team has provided more than 1,800 FREE wellness screenings to community members during local events and programs,” Clements said. “The goal of the screenings is to alert members of our community to any potential health issues before they become a medical emergency. In fact, these programs have been so successful, we hope to do twice as many screenings this next year. To help them do so, we have created a mobile screening van to help our team be more efficient in their efforts.”

Other community programs offered include:

  • Monthly Health Education Programs
  • Online Childbirth Education Programs
  • Total Joint Education Program for patients that will be having a Total Joint Replacement
  • Summer SafeSitter Babysitting Training Education Program
  • CPR Certification Classes
  • Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
  • Volunteer & Junior Volunteer Programs
  • Monthly Support Group Programs
  • Water aerobics classes in the Rehab Center Therapy Pool
  • SilverSneakers Program
  • Supervised Fitness Program
  • Much more!

“Cullman Regional is definitely committed to doing these things and much more to help our community live an exceptionally healthy life,” said Clements.
